How is NC5 organized?
NC5 is a non-profit educational organization under the laws of the State of California. As such, it must have a governing board.
The Executive Board is composed of Campus Representatives from each of the member colleges.
The Executive Committee provides day-to-day leadership. It is composed of a three-member Executive (President, Immediate Past President and President-Elect), a Treasurer and a Secretary. In addition, the Board has authorized positions of Vendor Coordinator and Program Coordinator.
Who is my Campus Rep?
The current list of Campus Representatives can be found here: <Under construction>
Our campus doesn’t have someone listed. How do you appoint Campus Reps?
Campus Representatives are volunteers. If your campus doesn’t have a Campus Rep, and you would like to serve in that role, contact the NC5 Secretary, Tony Wren <wrento@butte.edu>.
What does a Campus Rep do?
The Campus Representative is asked to do the following:
-
•Act as the contact person for a campus. Information on meetings will be sent to the Campus Reps, and each Campus Representative will then share that information to their campus community.
-
•Provide feedback to the Executive Committee about their campus.
-
•Serve on the NC5 Board. The Board meets at every NC5 meeting, usually during lunch, to discuss the business of the organization. If a campus’ representative cannot attend a meeting, another person from that college can act in their place.
I’d like to help with the next meeting. Who do I contact?
Any member of the Executive Committee or Board.
If you want to be a part of the program, contact the Program Coordinator, Robert Caruso. <bob@alwaysangels.com>
If you are a vendor, contact the Vendor Coordinator, Gordon Shimizu. <gshimizu@santarosa.edu>
