NC5 Organizational Information

How is NC5 organized?
NC5 is a non-profit educational organization under the laws of the State of California. As such, it must have a governing board.
The Executive Board is composed of Campus Representatives from each of the member colleges.
The Executive Committee provides day-to-day leadership. It is composed of a three-member Executive (President, Immediate Past President and President-Elect), a Treasurer and a Secretary. In addition, the Board has authorized positions of Vendor Coordinator and Program Coordinator.
Who is my Campus Rep?
The current list of Campus Representatives can be found here: <Under construction>
Our campus doesn’t have someone listed. How do you appoint Campus Reps?
Campus Representatives are volunteers. If your campus doesn’t have a Campus Rep, and you would like to serve in that role, contact the NC5 Secretary, Tony Wren <wrento@butte.edu>.
What does a Campus Rep do?
The Campus Representative is asked to do the following:
  1. Act as the contact person for a campus. Information on meetings will be sent to the Campus Reps, and each Campus Representative will then share that information to their campus community.
  2. Provide feedback to the Executive Committee about their campus.
  3. Serve on the NC5 Board. The Board meets at every NC5 meeting, usually during lunch, to discuss the business of the organization. If a campus’ representative cannot attend a meeting, another person from that college can act in their place.
I’d like to help with the next meeting. Who do I contact?
Any member of the Executive Committee or Board.
If you want to be a part of the program, contact the Program Coordinator, Robert Caruso. <bob@alwaysangels.com>
If you are a vendor, contact the Vendor Coordinator, Gordon Shimizu. <gshimizu@santarosa.edu>
